Abstract

Objective: To identify predisposing factors that increase risk of miscarriage among women. Methodology: This cross-sectional study was carried out from 15th November 2022 to 1st May 2023. Results: Most of participants were aged between 35-39 years. Nearly one quarter (21.50%) participants had antiphospholipid antibody syndrome as a factor associated with miscarriage. Only a few (11.5%) participants were using cigarettes, 36.3% had vitamin D deficiency, 19.5% had urinary tract infection, and 16.0% had poly cystic ovarian syndrome.
