Abstract
Introduction: The IOM referred to their guidelines about gestational weight gain (GWG) during twin pregnancies as “provisional”, and specified that they are based only on observational epidemiologic data (25th to 75th percentiles of GWG per BMI group), which means without taking into account pregnancy outcomes.
