Abstract

This article presents the results of research and rescue excavations at the site No. 16 in Biesiadki, com. Gnojnik, located in the Wiśnicz Foothills. This region is strongly associated with the Early Neolithic settlement occupying the region between the Dunajec and Uszwica rivers. In the course of excavations, numerous ceramic and stone materials were acquired. In order to determine the chronology of the artefacts, technological, stylistic and morphological analyses were used, which allowed the researchers to assign the collected finds to the communities of the Linear Pottery culture, Malice culture and Bükk culture.
