Abstract

A total of 127 species of lichens, mainly epiphytic and terrestrial, were found in the Przemkowski Landscape Park. The biota of epiphytes in forests is extremely poor, which is mainly due to the history of this area; in the past, air pollution here was very high. A positive aspect is the visible process of recolonization in the form of the presence of numerous species of the genera Bryoria, Ramalina and Usnea on young trees (mainly birches). In places, ground lichens are abundant in vast, dry heaths and sandy grasslands. Rock lichens grow mainly on anthropogenic rocks, which are remnants of the military infrastructure of the former military training ground.
