Abstract

Materials composed of polyethylene or poly(vinyl chloride) tapes and Transpor bitumen-polymer mastic are described as a means for the anticorrosive protection of steel underground oil pipelines. A combined coating composed of bitumen-polymer primer, bitumen-polymer mastic, and shrinkable film is proposed for the major repair of oil pipelines.
