Abstract

Some discoveries and contributions from Swedish chemists and mineralogists in the eighteenth and nineteenth century are reported. Elements from the Periodic Table discussed include cobalt, nickel, tungsten, manganese, molybdenum, silicon, calcium, strontium, barium, tantalum, cerium, selenium, zirconium, thorium, vanadium, yttrium, terbium, erbium, lanthanum, thulium, holmium, ytterbium, and scandium. >
