Abstract
Fusion reactor materials data base (FRMDB) must be carefully refined, evaluated and validated by a concensus of the user community, so that a data base administrator(DBA) is required to propose a first draft for a comprehensive materials data base. FRMDB has and will have every variety of information, so that it requires an information system of excellent capabilities. In this paper, the design concept of materials data base for fusion reactors is described, especially from the view point of a DBA. At the first step of development of the materials data base, the SOURCE DATA FILES has been constructed from original papers concerning fusion reactor materials.
