Abstract

In order to meet the requirements of intelligent and digital process planning, a similarity-based process planning method is studied. Firstly, the characteristics of part machining features and machining process are analyzed, and the representation and retrieval model of part feature cases is established; Secondly, the principle of process combination based on factory and parallel principle is put forward, and the clustering hierarchy method is used to combine the processes, and the process elements in the process family are sorted and combined to generate the part process. The feasibility of this method is verified by an example, which can realize the digital design of machining process for complex parts such as engine cylinder block and cylinder head, thereby realize high-precision flexible machining.
