Matbaa İşletmeleri İçin Bir Malzeme İhtiyaç Planlama Yazilimi Geliştirme ve Uygulanmasi

Abstract

One of the most important factors that provides to work efficiently and effectively of companies is the material acquisition and production process. Variable and difficult market conditions, the aim of answering the demands on time bring about problems that need to be resolved. Issues such as how to meet of supplies corresponds to the demands, how to prevent the formation of stock, how to shorten of product lead times appears to us at this stage. Material requirements planning (MRP) is the most important argument at the solution of problems. This situation can be seen both in the companies that have conventional production processes and printing businesses that require different processes. Therefore, in this study, MRP is used at printing businesses for stock management. A software that called “Akademia MRP” is developed. This software will be used to both the printing business and easily manage in material requirements planning systems of business. Stock management and production planning of a printing business in Ankara was made by using this software that MRP-oriented. The research findings showed that more stocks of printing business were melted, the cost of stocking was decreased, the supply of material and product delivery time were reduced, customer service was improved.
