Abstract

Tango has long been recognized as a national cultural asset in Argentina and Uruguay, becoming a striking feature of the Argentine and Uruguayan identity. That's why the inhabitants of the coast of Rio de La Plata (in Spanish. "Silver River") have such a reverent attitude to his favorite dance - the most passionate of all known on earth. The article is devoted to outstanding Argentinean musicians: Osvaldo Pugliese and Astor Piazzolla. The changes in tango’s nature can be seen in the article. Pugliese has enriched the genre of Tango, making it sound in modern style. Piazzolla went even further: he became the founder of completely different style that received a name “New Tango”. Old as the world problem: the relationship of power and the artist. O.Pugliese and A.Piazzolla had to face it. Each of these two prominent Argentine musicians solved it in his own way. We know little about this. It seems that this topic is of interest to our readers, and I will try to reveal some details.
