Abstract

The study discussed in the body of this paper represents an initial step in the development of alternative directions in which public facility planning can turn. That is, it reports changes in a behavioral response satisfaction as a function of changes in various attributes of a public bus system. Although ridership changes as a function of individual attribute changes have not been observed, changes in both satisfaction responses and overall ridership patterns have been monitored for what appears to be a representative sample of individuals in the study area.
