Abstract
A numerical solution of the axisymmetric steady heat and mass transfer problem for spherical particles, drops and bubbles in a linear Stokes shear flow is obtained for the entire range of Peclet numbers. Simple approximate expressions for the average Sherwood number in good agreement with the results of the numerical calculations are proposed.
