Abstract
Mass transfer into turbulent liquid jets has been discussed based on the eddy diffusivity model. Consistency of the available experimental data on the mass transfer coefficients for such systems has been examined. For the experimental data which proved to be consistent with the theory the eddy diffusivity parameter has been determined and related to the basic hydrodynamic parameters of the system.
