Abstract

1. The degree of fragmentation of carboranyl derivatives of benzenechromium tricarbonyl with cleavage of metal-ligand bonds depends linearly on the number of vibrational degrees of freedom of the π ligand. 2. Coordination of phenylcarboranes with a chromium tricarbonyl group inhibits the process of dehydrogenation of the carborane nucleus under electron impact.
