Abstract

The problem of the mass differences of the triplet sigma is discussed within the general standpoint of the electromagnetic structures of elementary particles. As the present data about these particles are very pcor, many possibilities for the values of the anomalous magnetic moments are considered, especially those which according to meson theory have a reasonable ma nitude and sign. Assuming the external distributions of change and anomalous magnetic moments, as well as the magnitudes of these moments, the inner structures are estimated in order to explain the mass differences of the triplet. Effects of higher order corrections due to strong interactions are also discussed. (auth)
