Introduction

As a result of globalization and the removal of trade protections, the European textile industry experienced a disruption. Technical textiles are designed to perform specific functions Firms can get closer to the ideal state by incorporating three core capabilities: solution space development, robust process design, and customer integration. Firms need to identify product attributes among which customer needs diverge significantly [16]. Addressing those heterogeneities generates the most value for customers. As customer needs can change over time, firms need to analyze those constantly and adjust the solution space
