Abstract

The events that can be categorized as a tale must, even if being fact, contain a character. A tale giving place to such an event was found among the texts compiled in Kars. In this region, where the tradition of folk storytelling still existed, the story originally described in the form of a story, in keeping with the tradition of storytelling, may have become a fairy tale between the people over time. The tale called Alim Masali deals with many different variants of 'Alin Folk Song'.
