Abstract

This contribution aims to clarify the position of women in the social and intellectual spheres. Since Antiquity, passing through the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, the feminine status has been relegated to the background in favor of a masculine power that occupies the literary debate. Our choice concerns Renaissance literature through the Lyonnais poet Louise Labé. Her Work, characteristic of a poetic register and a prosaic imprint, made her universal literary success and was very decisive in the fight to reposition and recognize the value of women in the world of letters and fine minds.
