She is a member of the editorial collective of the Radical History Review and co-edited the special issue ‘Reconceptualizations of the African Diaspora’ (Jan 2009). She is currently working on a book entitled ‘Skin Acts: New World Black Male Performance and the Desire for Difference,” featuring discussions of the performers Bert Williams, Paul Robeson, Harry Belafonte, and Bob Marley
