Abstract
We develop a non-commutative theory of Dirichlet forms and symmetric Markov semigroups acting on the smooth sections of a C ∗-algebra bundle. We show that the Bochner Laplacian associated to a suitable connection on a Clifford algebra bundle induces a Dirichlet form, and describe some properties of the associated Markov semigroup.
