Abstract

One of the success of college is the amount of interest or desire of prospective students who will enter, and this will be a plus on the institution itself both in terms of financial and the existence of the college itself. The problem is that the value of interest rather than prospective students still at the end of the school level tends to be still a little because it is influenced by several other factors. So this study aims to analyze how much the value of interest than students who will go to college by processing existing data surveys in the field of data mining methods linear regression. Where with this method can analyze the tendency of interest than prospective students to get into college. This study provides a percentage value than the interest of prospective new students who will go to college. This research can help to know the interest of new student acceptance based on marking strategy factor such as campus facility, outside influences, campus information to students, academic, finance, student affairs and influence with marketing strategy.
