Abstract
The rotifer fauna from two localities at an Arctic beach at Disko Island was investigated. Five species were found; four are new to Greenland and two of these are new to science. Encentrum graingeri and Proales reinhardti were found in the psammon, and it is suggested that they inhabit the sea-ice during the winter and then shift to inhabit the psammon in the ice-free periods during summer.
