Abstract

The study of the marginalia in the translation of the Timaeus by Calcidius in the manuscript Paris, BNF, latin 16579 allows us to refine the filiations established by the editor of the text, J.-H. Waszink. It also informs us about the origin of the principal groups of glosses and, concurrently, about the interests of the man who conceived this manuscript.
