Abstract
The constant adaptation between electricity supply and demand can be achieved in two ways : On the supply side, through the construction of additional facilities, and on the demand side, by implementing tariffs, load management schemes and a commercial policy. Changes in demand clearly imply changes in the supply system in terms of both the installed capacity and the operating conditions of the system which need to be taken into account.
