Abstract
A research study is described which uses the Hill Interaction Matrix to analyze the group process of a 16-hour-long marathon group conducted with users of illicit drugs. The group quadrant scales and the 16 cells of the HIM-G are used to provide an indication of the types of interactions among members that occurred during this group. This group rated high on scales with strong loadings on the work and interpersonal threat dimensions of the HIM-G.
