Abstract

We consider in the article a new approach to semi-analytical study of the hydrodynamical equations for viscous variant of viscous-plastic fluids. The main attention is focused on the study of rivulet fluid flows on inclined surface. Traditionally, the study of rivulet flows has focused on fluid motions in a gravitational field. There are such flow conditions when the effect of gravity during the flow of liquid is an insignificant factor. In this case, it is necessary to study the influence of Marangoni effect on the structure of rivulet fluid flows.A semi-analytical approach has been developed for particular integrating hydrodynamical equations of viscous variant of viscous-plastic flow. We have shown that there is a situation of an adequate and correct description of Marangoni flows for rivulet-type of viscous variant of viscous-plastic fluid flows, assuming equal components of velocity in Ox-direction, Oy-direction. In this case, the main qualitative and quantitative regularities of the hydrodynamic flow are established. Further numerical and semi-analytical research confirm this observation.
