Abstract

A temperature threshold Tnr of static recrystallization after various prestrains and a threshold strain ɛp of dynamic recrystallization depending on the temperature and strain rate are determined for austenite of low-carbon shipbuilding steel 09CrNi2MoCuV. On the basis of these data obtained with a Gleeble 3800 thermomechanical simulator, the temperature and deformation conditions are mapped allowing one to distinguish between particular ranges of technological parameters of thermomechanical treatment, where certain mechanisms of polycrystal structure evolution predominate in austenite of the considered steel.
