Abstract Maps are presented for four high-velocity hydrogen clouds toward the center of the local group, and of two clouds within the Magellanic Stream. The four clouds have diameters 20-40 arc min, surface densities 2 x 10 to the 19th atoms/sq cm, and half-widths of about 20 km/s, similar to concentrations within previous high-velocity clouds. They are quite different from the clouds within the Magellanic Stream which have diameters of about 1 deg, surface densities not greater than 10 to to the 19th/sq cm, and half-widths of about 40 km/s. The clouds could have resulted from a close encounter between M33 and M31 or may be part of a local supernovae shell.
