Abstract
The landscape of the intratumoral microbiome in tumor metastases is largely unchartered. In this issue of Cell, Voest etal. profiled the tumor metastasis-associated microbiome in a pancancer cohort of 4,160 biopsies from 26 cancer types. This dataset offers a useful resource for understanding the role of the microbiome in metastatic cancers.
