Abstract
To map the intellectual structure of Technology Management research in this century, this study identified the most important publications and the most influential scholars as well as the correlations among these scholar’s publications. In this study, bibliometric and social network analysis techniques are used to investigate the intellectual pillars of the Technology Management literature. By analyzing 10,061 citations of 482 articles published in SSCI journals in Technology Management area between 2002 and 2006, this study maps an invisible network of knowledge of Technology Management studies. The results of the mapping can help identify the research direction of Technology Management research and provide a valuable tool for researchers to access the literature in this area.
