Abstract

There exists ambiguity between terms used by healthcare professionals and common people. Some of the medical terms are beyond the comprehension of ordinary people, let alone their understandability. To be able to provide a mechanism in which both the professionals are able to understand the common terms of regular patients and also the patients able to break down a complex medical term into a simple term is highly desirable for both the parties. Mapping of concepts between both the professional as well as a common man is done here. Initially, local CSV files, which contain previously asked questions from various medical websites, are analyzed and then global mining is done on answers which can't be retrieved from the CSV files. There is an additional option of asking an expert user in case the answer is not found in either of the sources.
