Abstract

SCORM (Sharable Content Object Reference Model) is a reference model for Web-based e-learning content design. This study analyzes SCORM content aggregation model for the purpose of reuse and sharing of e-learning contents and proposes a mapping method modeling XML data using a UML diagram. For this, a rule of mapping as a class diagram by classifying the constituent factors of SCORM content aggregation model into content package, manifest, metadata, content aggregation, organizations and resources. Also, the validity of the proposed method is to be verified analyzing and designing SCORM content aggregation model with reverse engineering based on the proposed method.
