Abstract

Abstract Highly congested terpenoid proton NMR spectra are generally intractable to detailed analysis and assignment. Analyses of the proton-proton connectivity networks in such spectra are, however, possible using the proton double quantum coherence two-dimensional NMR experiment. Natural cycloseychellene, which contains resonances for twenty four protons within a 1.2 ppm wide region is used as an example to demonstrate this technique.
