Abstract
ABSTRACT A French-language document written in about 1887 by a Marist missionary to Fiji, Fr Alfred Deniau, but only published in 2013, gives an account of the arrival of the Wesleyan missionaries Revs William Cross and David Cargill in Lakeba, Fiji, in 1835 that augments the very brief accounts they themselves gave of it.
