Abstract
The manufacturing of nanocrystal based LEDs with the aid of the layer-by-layer deposition technique is presented and discussed. The technique is generally applicable for the fabrication of LEDs efficiently emitting in the wide spectral region from the UV-blue to the Near-Infrared.
