Manufacturing Company Innovative Level Assessment Case Study of Volta Indonesia Semesta Incorporated

Abstract

Volta Indonesia Semesta Inc is a company that focuses on producing and presenting electric vehicles and their technology. Currently, companies are still constrained by determining the company's position and competitiveness in the world of transportation competition. The company's innovation is the key to driving the company's progress, especially in facing competition and knowing the company's position. The company's innovativeness can be seen using an assessment of the level of innovation. The assessment is based on two aspects, namely innovation capability and innovation results. This research was conducted to assess the company's level of innovation and formulate recommendations. The methods used in this assessment are Delphi and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The results obtained stated that Volta Indonesia Semesta Inc. is included in the Emerging Industry Leader in Indonesia with an innovative value of 580.47. Furthermore, there are recommendations for companies that can be done to increase innovation, namely by giving rewards to employees, conducting a blind recruitment system, forming a quality control group, training for employees, customers and supplier gatherings, holding a Research and Development division, establishing a knowledge center, developing a test lab products and regular carbon footprint measurements.
