Abstract
Boron is an important element which increases the hardenability of materials. It has potential uses in futuristic applications like solar cells. Research has been done on crystalline Boron and a lot of data are available on crystalline boron. However, Boron in its amorphous form is a material which is being researched upon in recent times. This paper is a short review on the manufacturing methods, both traditional and current, and characterization of amorphous boron.
