Manuela Mosca has produced a fascinating study of four leading Italian economists: Pareto, Pantaleoni, Barone, and De Viti de Marco. Among those four names, only Pareto is familiar to all economics students, but Mosca’s book does a fantastic job at remedying that oversight.
