Abstract

In the low-velocity limit, multi-soliton solutions trace out geodesics in the static solution manifold with distance defined by a metric on moduli space. We compute this metric for heterotic string soliton solutions of the supergravity equations with the structure of fivebranes. We use the metric to calculate the scattering angle for a two-soliton interaction to leading order in the impact parameter.
