Abstract

The research was set as a general objective To formulate a maintenance plan for civil works and basic services for the Bolivarian School Sebastian Francisco de Miranda; Falcon State Venezuela. The work was developed through four methodological phases. In the first instance, the conditions of the physical structure and basic services presented by the institution were diagnosed, later the main failures corresponding to the systems were determined: electrical, structured, unstructured, black water and white water. The main causes and pertinent corrective actions were considered to mitigate said failures that contributed to the creation of a preventive and corrective maintenance plan that provided the personnel working in the compound with specific control of the maintenance tasks that are necessary based on at the stipulated time frequencies, which will affect the maintenance of the facilities, applying constant inspections and repairs that guarantee its effective operation.
