Abstract

The study investigates the aspects of social change in the Kuwaiti family and the effect of that social change on the change in social events. To achieve the aims of the study, the qualitative approach was used through an in-depth interview, and the study population consisted of all the inmate juveniles in the Social Calendar House in the State of Kuwait, Due to the smallness of the study population, the sample was chosen using the comprehensive inventory method and it consisted of (11), juveniles. The results showed that the most important characteristics of families of inmate juveniles are the prevalence of the phenomenon of servants, the increase in the size of the family, most of which reside in apartments, in addition to the influence of the manifestations of social change in each of (family construction, family jobs, and family relations) on the deviation of inmates in the calendar house.
