Manganese catalysed enantioselective hydrogenation ofin situ-synthesised imines: efficient asymmetric synthesis of amino-indane derivatives

Abstract

Indanone derivatives can be directly converted to amino-indanes with high enantioselectivity using a manganese catalyst. Selectivity can be rationalised by DFT calculations.
