Abstract

The increase in wheat grain yield is strongly correlated with the supply and management of N and nitrogen sources. The aim this to evaluate the tillering components and contributions to mass of the grain plants, due N management parceled in coverage associated with different sources of nitrogen. The study realized in two growing seasons (2012 and 2013) integrated five elite wheat genotype (TBIO Itaipu, Quartzo, TBIO Iguacu, Fundacep 52 e TBIO Mestre), six managements of nitrogen fertilization (I: absence of nitrogen, II: tillering, III: tillering and booting, IV: tillering and flowering, V: booting and flowering, and VI: tillering, booting and flowering) and three sources of nitrogen (Urea - 45% nitrogen and AN: ammonium nitrate - 33.5% nitrogen and liquid nitrogen). With the management of N in tillering ocorred increases the number of main culm ear grain. The management installment of N II, III, V and VI showed higher mass tillers grains, number of fertile tillers and grain yield per plant. To sources urea and ammonium increased the number of grains of the main culm, number of fertile tillers, grain mass of fertile tillers. To N managements applications at tillering booting in favor relatively of mass tillers grains relative to the total mass of the plant.
