Abstract

abstract – The capacity area of mandibular movements was reconstructed in two fully grown male rats immediately after the rats were killed with ether. The tips of the mandibular incisors were used as recording markers. The shape and dimensions of the capacity area are discussed in relation to joint morphology and habitual jaw movements.
