Abstract

O Z ET Klinigimizde ameliyat edilmis, oldukca nadir gorulen mand A­bula sarkomlar i takdim edilmistir. En genc olgu 9 yasinda fiibrosarkomali, en yasli olgu ise 63 yasinda indiferansiye sarkomali hastalardi. Erken belirtiler dis agrisi, alt dudakta uyusma, dislerin gevsemesi, tumor ve agri idi. Tumor ulserasyonu ve lenfadenomegoll ilerlemis lezyonu olan vakalarda gorulmustu. Biopsi, panoreks radyografi, ya ameliyat piyesinin radyografileri lezyonun ozellikleri ve ameliyat planini saptamada fevkalade kiymetli bulunmuslardir. Uygun vakalarda Kisohner teli, maksilo-mandibuler fiksasyon mandibulektomiden sonra fragmanlari tesbitte kullanilmislardir. Primer kemik grefi rutin olarak uygulanmamistir. SUMMARY The patients with these rare tumors of the mandible operated on, in our clinic have been presented. Their histopathoiogical types were as shown below in table 1. Chondro sarcoma 5 Fibro sarcoma 3 Myxo sarcoma , 3 Myeloblasts sarcoma 2 Osteo sarcoma 1 Undifferentiated sarcoma 2 Total 16 Chondrosarcoma was the most frequently seen one in our serie. Male to female ratio was 11/5. The youngest patient was 9 years old and had fibrosarcoma. The oldest one, 63 had undifferentiated sarcoma. The early symptoms mostly were toothache, numbness in the lower lip, loosening of the tooth, tumor and pain. Ulceration of the tumor and lymph node enlargements were seen in well advanced cases. Definite diagnosis were possible in the majority of cases with preoperative evaluation and biopsy, Panorex ray pictures were very valuable in diagnosing and planing the operation. During the operations X ray pictures of the specimens were taken, to check the lesion and its free borders. K wires and maxillo-mandibular fixations were utilized in suitable cases to stabilize the fragments. Tracheostomy were used electively in two patients, one with total the other with subtotal mandlbulectomy. Primary bone grafting were not used.
