Abstract

Management of Extracurricular Activities in Developing Interest and Talent at SMK Negeri 1 Kebumen, Thesis, IAINU Kebumen Postgraduate Program, 2020 Management of Extracurricular Activities in Developing Interest and Talent at SMK Negeri 1 Kebumen. This research is motivated by the researcher's interest in the extracurricular management at the school which is available several active extracurricular activities and often makes achievements. In this case, of course the management of extracurricular activities is effective because the school is very focused on coaching. This study is created to answer the following questions: First, how does the planning management of extracurricular activities develop interest and talent at SMK Negeri 1 Kebumen? Second, how is the management of extracurricular activities to develop interest and talent at SMK Negeri 1 Kebumen? Third, how is evaluation management of extracurricular activities to develop interest and talent at SMK Negeri 1 Kebumen? These problems are discussed through a field study conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Kebumen. This research uses a qualitative research. The school is used as a source of data to get implementation portrait of the extracurricular activity management in developing interest and talent. Data is obtained by interviews, observation, and documentation. All data are analyzed by means of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. This research is conducted with the aim of knowing how Management of Extracurricular Activities in Developing Interest and Talent at SMK Negeri 1 Kebumen. This study shows that: First, in aspects planning, all parties involved in extracurricular activities at SMK Negeri 1 Kebumen is able to plan its tasks well, including contains clear program objectives, regular work plans, coaching optimal. Second, in the implementation aspect, SMK Negeri 1 Kebumen contains organizational structure, division of tasks, facilities and infrastructure, and sources of funds, thus, it has been properly arranged in accordance with the work program that has been arranged before. Third, while in the evaluation aspect, it starts from the level of supervisor evaluation in written and practical form, as well as evaluation as a whole both in terms of technical and implementation by assistant principal of student affairs coordinating along with the principal directly.
