Abstract
ABSTRACT Managing the environmental issues at the lead/zinc mine Black Angel in Greenland demanded developing a model for rational decisionmaking. The paper describes the model which incorporated target-oriented surveys and development projects as well as forms for dialogue between the company and the environmental authorities. The need as well as the success of the model is demonstrated by the development in the environment.
