Abstract

AbstractLarge‐scale content distribution networks (CDNs) can be built using URL routers to redirect client HTTP requests to the nearest content source. URL routers employ very large routing tables. To improve the manageability of CDNs, we propose to use URL signatures to reduce the size of routing tables and aggressive hashing to speed‐up routing look‐ups.
