Abstract

AbstractSeveral plant‐parasitic nematode species are found in Pacific Northwest potato fields, and they can potentially cause agronomic damage alone or, in some cases, in conjunction with diseases. Because of interactions with other host crops and pathogens, not to mention fumigant costs, managing the soil‐borne pests requires a combination that may include soil sampling, crop rotation, nematicides, fumigation, and biofumigation.
