Abstract

PREVIEWIn the final part of this three-part article, Dr Shields reviews ocular conditions that mandate referral to an ophthalmologist. He also gives recommendations about how to intervene with specific conditions, such as ocular trauma and chemical injuries, until an ophthalmology consultant is available to assume responsibility for patient care.
